The Iraqi forces have killed 11 Daesh elements during a security operation that targeted the militant group in Salaheddine governorate in northern Iraq.
Meanwhile, as many as 25 terrorists were killed in Ramadi in western Iraq.
Local and security sources said the joint Iraqi forces liberated the administrative borders of "Al Alam" neighbourhood, noting that the slow progress of the troops is attributed to hundreds of explosive charges that were planted by Daesh on the borders of the governorate.
The tribes council of Salaheddine governorate asserted that the tribal gunmen joined the Iraqi forces in their operations that were also backed by sorties.
