Joint Iraqi troops killed 81 militants of Daesh during a military operation in Anbar province.
The forces, backed by a Shiite militia, are seeking purge Al Karma where they killed 24 militants and destroyed a crossing. They defused bombs and seized weapons, according to a statement released by the defense ministry.
Regional commanders of the militant group were killed in the army attack, said the statement.
Aircraft conducted air strikes against targets of the group, added the statement.
