An Israeli occupation court in Camp Salem, west of the West Bank city of Jenin, has extended the detention of 26-year-old Palestinian prisoner Anas Qaqour, from Jenin city, for the eighth time in a row.
The prisoner’s brother Hamza, said Israeli forces extended the arrest of his brother, until June 19 under security pretexts, adding that occupation authorities continue to deny the captive’s wife and his mother the right to visit him since his arrest nine months ago. Anas’ wife gave birth to a baby girl while he is under detention, Hamza said.
Previously, Qaqour spent five years in Israeli prisons.
