Israeli forces on Saturday detained two Gaza fishermen, local sources reported.
The sources added that the two fishermen were arrested off the coast of northern Gaza Strip, within the six nautical mile-fishing zone where fishermen are allowed to sail in under the Gaza ceasefire agreement.
The August 26 ceasefire agreement reached with Palestinian militant groups stipulated that Israel would immediately expand the fishing zone off Gaza's coast, allowing fishermen to sail as far as six nautical miles from shore, and would continue to expand the area gradually.
Since signing the truce, the Israeli army has violated the agreement several times, according to Palestinian sources.
