Jordan army kills 2 infiltrators on Syrian border

Jordan's border guards shot and killed two individuals caught trying to illegally enter the Kingdom from Syria, a Jordan Armed Forces official announced on Monday.
The official said the Syrian infiltrators did not comply with the warnings of the guards, who in turn, applied the rules of engagement for such circumstances, killing both the infiltrators, Petra News Agency reported.
The source stressed that the Armed Forces will not tolerate such actions and would strike with an iron fist anyone attempting to breach the security of the homeland and its citizens.
