
Ateny Wek Ateny, the press secretary to South Sudan's president, Salva Kiir has hinted at expelling the UN mission in Juba due to its biased reports. In statements to Sudan's "Al-Taghyeer" newspaper, out Monday, Ateny rejected UN reports of violations by the popular army. The UN mission in South Sudan should be expelled, Ateny said, noting that Juba would have been the case if the government was not democratic. He made it clear that Salva Kiir will not resign before the 2015 elections. Source: MENA
