They were accused of planning to "carry out suicidal terrorist acts by explosive belt, rigging automobiles with explosives, purchasing explosives, explosive belts and weapons, and preparing and providing tools to suicide bombers for them to carry out their suicide acts across residential neighbourhoods in Beirut," read the verdict delivered by Judge Saqr Saqr.
The group was caught in a Beirut hotel raid by Lebanese security forces, and had been planning to execute several attacks across the country. Source: KUNA
