Syrian workers in Harouf southern Lebanon, were targeted by residents of the town when a stun grenade was thrown into a building where they were staying. The explosion led to structural damage of the building, none of the Syrian workers were injured. The incident occurred amid current tension witnessed in Harouf after Syrian refugees were transferred from Quasyr, western Syria. Security sources in Harouf said that groups of Lebanon’s Shiite movements, including Hezbollah and the Amal Movement had housed Syrian refugees in southern villages under supervision. A number of the refugees have been arrested for photographing funerals of Hezbollah members in the area and sending the pictures to the Free Syrian Army to be used in propaganda.
