Libyan army controls Om Mabrouka area in Benghazi

Libyan troops have gained full control over Om Mabrouka area on the western corridor of Benghazi.
Captain Jebril al Farsi of the second battalion said on Tuesday that fierce clashes erupted between the troops and fighters of the Shura Council of Benghazi Revolutionaries, leaving two elements of Ansar al Sharia dead.
Three armored cars have also been seized, Farsi added.
No casualties occurred among Libyan troops, he stressed.
