Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Mikati is set to lead the Lebanese delegation in the 14th Francophone Summit in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Sources said Mikati left Beirut Friday morning and will join his delegates in Congo Friday afternoon. The delegation includes Samir Mokhbil, Lebanese Deputy Prime Minister, Ali Hassan Khalil, Public Health Minister, Nicolas Nahas, Economy and Trade Ministers, Marwan Charbel, Interior and Municipalities Minister and Saad Zakhia, Lebanon’s Ambassador to Congo. “Al-Mustaqbel” (Future) newspaper, owned by the Future Movement and led by Saad Al-Hariri, published in Friday’s edition that the Prime minster has a large share of a Syrian telecommunications company called “MTN”. A statement issued by Mikati’s office, said he owned the share in “MTN” in South Africa years ago and he is not responsible for managing the company. Mikati’s office discredited any information outside this statement.
