In a statement released by the General Directorate for National Security, the authorities stated that they arrested the man after finding his mobile phone and computer. The statement also explained that his possessions revealed the identity of the murderer. El Jadida is a port city on the Atlantic coast of Morocco, a town favoured by tourists.
