Morsi supporters call for releasing jailed protesters

Supporters of ousted president Mohamed Morsi staged a march across Suez on Monday, calling for releasing Morsi\'s supporters, who were convicted by military courts. Protesters chanted slogans against military trials, raising photos of the ousted president. Earlier this month, an Egyptian military court in Suez sentenced Morsi\'s supporters to long jail terms on charges of attacking soldiers in the coastal city. One person had been sentenced to life in prison for the Suez clashes, three people to 15 years in jail, and 45 others to five years. Source: MENA
