The prevailing peace in the country which has enabled Malaysians to live without fear may not be attained without the sacrifices of the nation's security forces, said Prime Minister Datuk Sari Najib Tun Razak.
He said this was proven when Malaysia ranked 30th out of 163 countries as the most peaceful country on the Global Peace Index.
"When we watch the television, (we see attacks in) Manchester, Kabul, Jakarta and Marawi...Alhamdulillah (praise be to Allah), Kuala Lumpur or other cities are not mentioned.
