North Sinai gas pipeline blast

Officials at the Egyptian Natural Gas Holding Company (EGAS) have closed all valves at the gas pipeline southeastern el-Arish, the local capital of North Sinai, to prevent the spread of the fire.
Earlier today, unidentified gunmen blew up the pipeline.
The fire is expected to be contained within hours.
The gas pipeline was blown up 23 times since February 2011.
