Ousted president Morsi arrives at Police Academy

Ousted president Mohammad Morsi arrived at the Police Academy, in New Cairo, on board a helicopter that carried him from Borg el-Arab prison ahead of the start of his trial along with other 14 defendants of the Muslim Brotherhood group in the Ittihadiya violence case. A security source told MENA that Morsi was moved from the plane to the court room amid tight security measures. Also, 14 defendants of the Muslim Brotherhood were transported early Tuesday from Tora prison to the Police Academy amid tight security measures. Source: MENA
