
Over 50 people were killed in sporadic violent acts in different parts of Iraq on Friday, a security source said. The source, speaking to KUNA, said 28 unknown bodies were founded in different places in Baghdad and Salah Ad-Deen. He added that security forces also discovered seven unidentified bodies in norther Tikrit, while bodies of three women were found in Husseiniya area with traces of torture visible. Two bodies of women were also discovered in Baladiyat and Zaafaraniya areas, hours after the police discovered 16 bodies in Mushahada area in northern Baghdad. The source said unknown gunmen shot dead five women in a house in eastern Baghdad, while four civilians were killed and three wounded in a bomb blast in western Baghdad. At least 10 people were killed in other violent incidents as well, said a police source. Source: KUNA
