A Palestinian worker died due to an electrical shock inside an underground tunnel across border line of Gaza Strip early on Sunday, according to local radio stations. Bassam Al-Farmawi died instantly due to the shock and his body was taken to Martyr Yousef Al-Najjar Hospital in the border town, Rafah. The report about demise of the Palestinian indicated that the Palestinian activists were still involved in clandestine smuggling despite efforts by the Egyptian Army to demolish these underground tunnels. Up to 180 Palestinians have lost their life in such accidents, as well as in Israeli military strikes. The Palestinians use these makeshift tunnels to smuggle necessary supplies such as food, medicines and fuel. Source: KUNA
