Policeman shot dead in Ismailia

A policeman was killed when gunmen attacked a checkpoint in the north-eastern Egyptian city of Ismailia, security sources confirmed. Four armed individuals opened fire on the security base near Ismailia Ring Road, killing one officer and injuring another, officials said.
