An amateur video shot in Hebron city, central West Bank, has shown a group of Zionist settlers harassing a young man at the Tel Rumeida checkpoint, an area inhabited by extremist settlers. They then dragged him inside a building, kicked him in front of the Israeli soldiers present there. The security officials did not intervene, with two soldiers even participating in the torture. The young man who shot the video told Maariv, the Israeli newspaper, that among the people who participated to the beating were soldiers in civilian clothes, because he recognised officials who worked in the area. A person who asked him to turn back was also a soldier dressed in civilian clothes.
