A Tunisian preacher has been arrested at the Tunisian National Airport, in relation to falsifying documents. Preacher Emad Bin-Saleh was met by Tunisian security forces after he was deported from Egypt. Egyptian authorities arrested Bin-Saleh and a Libyan citizen, accusing them of falsifying passports to facilitate illegal immigration. The Tunisian interior minister has refused to comment on the arrest. Meanwhile, Tunisian authorities have arrested a 15-year-old on his way to join the Syrian opposition in their fight against the ruling regime, led by President Bashar Assad. The child’s family had submitted a complaint accusing a Salafist group of recruiting young people to aid the opposition in Syria. A man returning to Tunisia after fighting for the opposition has recently been jailed for eight months. The prosecution accused the man of aiding a terrorist organisation.
