
Qatari Amir Shaikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani today received a telephone call from the Secretary-General of the United Nations Ban Ki-moon.
They discussed the current situation in the Gaza Strip, and the regional and international efforts to put an end to the Israeli aggression on Gaza and lift the siege imposed on it.
They also discussed moves to obtain a United Nations resolution that sets a timeframe for an end to the occupation and the establishment of the independent Palestinian state in accordance with the borders of 1967 with East Jerusalem as its capital.
