A senior security Egyptian official on Rafah border declared Saturday that the Qatari ambassador in Palestine and the President of the reconstruction project in Gaza Mohammed Al-Amadi had arrived in Gaza on Friday. The trip comes in order to discuss the final preparations in Gaza for securing the visit of Prince Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa Al Thani and his wife Sheikha Mozah who will be visiting the Gaza Strip next week before Eid-Al Adha feast in order to inaugurate the reconstruction project in Gaza financed by Qatar. The source added that the ambassador entered Gaza alone, as he has made several visits from and to Gaza accompanied by two of his chancellors last Monday. He then returned back to Egypt last Friday. Egypt, with the cooperation with Red Cross, has sent 1,119 boxes of the Holy Quran and its interpretation - each box including ten books with different sizes - as a gift presented from Qatar to Palestinians in Gaza.
