The Egyptian Rebel Movement has accused the Muslim Brotherhood of attempting to burn its headquarters in downtown Cairo, Egypt on Friday. A number of pro-Egyptian President Mohammed Morsi supporters reportedly threw Molotov cocktails at the Rebel Movements headquarters, injuring their spokesperson. In a statement made on Facebook, the movement asserted that Morsi should bear the responsibility of such incidents. The campaign expressed its condemnation of the attack targeting its headquarters, adding that such steps aim to terrorise them. It affirmed that the ruling party would not prevent them from resuming the planned march on June 30, calling for early presidential elections. The Rebel Movement added that they have witnessed an increase in support from the Egyptian people recently and such incidents would not affect their standing.
