Three small boats entered Saudi territorial waters

An official Saudi source has said that three small boats entered Saudi territorial waters in the Arabian Gulf on Friday, 16th June.
According to the Saudi Press Agency, SPA, the boats headed at speed towards Saudi oil field platforms at Marjan. The Saudi naval forces fired warning shots, but the boats did not respond. Consequently, one of the boats was captured while the other two escaped.
The source went on to say that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia stressed its determination to combat and eradicate terrorism and its sources, as a part of the country’s permanent objective to protect its national security against any external aggression.
