South Sudanese President Silva Kair has called citizens from all faiths to maintain peace with each other and wished the Muslim population a good celebration of Eid al-Adha. The President praised the efforts of the Islamic Council to organise the Eid al-Adha Feast for the first time in the new state. Kair also mentioned the new Addis Ababa agreement signed with Sudan. He insisted on the importance of implementing this agreement in order to solve the dispute between the two countries. South Sudanese Information Minister Barnaba Benjamin said to Arabstoday: \"Implementing the agreement between Khartoum and Juba will strengthen the bound between out two countries.”
