
The Syrian National Coalition for Opposition and Revolutionary Forces has elected a new political authority, said a statement by the coalition on Monday. Hadi al-Bahra, Anas Al-Abda, Nazir Hakim, Ahmed Ramadan and Abdul Ahad Asatifo, Jamal Al-Ward, Khalid Nasser, Yahya Maktabi, Riyad Al-Hasan, Nasser Al-Hariri, Mohammad Khair Al-Wazir, Salah Darwish, Mohamed Khair Banco, Hassan Hashmi, Anwar Badr, Ahmed Jakel, Alia Mansour and Ziyad Hasan were elected for the first time during a meeting in Istanbul yesterday, added the statement. Former member Salem Al-Muslet has returned to the council, while Michel Kilo, Fayez Sara, Moufaq Nerbiya, Akram Al-Assaf, Monzer Makhous, Kamal Al-Labwani, Louay Safi, Abdulbaset Sieda and Mona Mustafa left the coalition council, said the statement. The body also inculdes President of the Syrian Coalition Ahmad Jarba, Farouk Tayfour, Noura Al-Amir, Abdul Hakim Bashar and Bader Jamous, the Secretary General of coalition, according to the statement.
