Tantawi warns of undermining Egypt’s security

Marshal  Hussein Tantawi, head of the Supreme Council of the Egyptian armed forces, said  in a speech marking the  38th anniversary of  October 6 victory,  that Egypt was able to overcome the current stage, and warned of any attempts to undermine Egypt's security and stability . Tantawi, also called the Egyptian people to build a modern civil state that guarantees social justice. He said in the speech broadcast on state television of Egypt on Thursday, September 6th: “anyone who has attempts to undermine Egypt’s security has to avoid the Egyptian people, who proved over the history its ability to overcome adversity and difficulties, and comes out of the crisis stronger than ever before.” He called on the Egyptian people to be aware of “any attempt to create division and discord amongst Egyptians,” pointing the Egypt is “going through a very sensitive transforming period.” He explained that after the revolution, which was carried out by the Egyptian youth, Different views and the dispersion There were voices questioning the intentions, and the one some of the crises and risks at all levels, especially security and economic."
