Three killed in shoot-out over shrine

Three people were killed and 10 injured in a clash that broke out when armed raiders tried to vandalise a shrine. Residents of Rajma zone, south east Benghazi, tried to defend the shrine Sheikh Lafi against a gang armed raiders. The armed group managed to demolish a grave beside the shrine. In a statement by the Libyan News Agency, Wanis al Sharef, the undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior in the Eastern region, confirmed that three people had been killed and 10 injured in the exchange. He confirmed that revolutionaries contained the situation and it had now been brought back to normal.
