Three people injured at bridge under construction accident in Abu Dhabi

Abu Dhabi Police have said three people sustained serious to medium injuries when concrete beams fell on them during installation at a bridge under construction in Al Raha Beach area.

The police patrol teams, in co-operation with the competent authorities, rushed the injured to a nearby hospital for treatment and secured the accident scene.

The engineering, roads security and municipal staff embarked on their duties to establish a cause of the accident in the presence of a public prosecutor and competent investigation teams to file a report on the incident from the site.

Following the accident, the competent teams have shown a great deal of co-operation and efficiency, along with the Abu Dhabi Police, in terms of quick response, evacuation, and rushing of the injured to hospital.
