The new campaign chief of Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump has been accused of being anti-semitic by his ex-wife, court documents revealed on Friday.
Mary Louise Piccard said her former partner Stephen Bannon made anti-semitic and offensive remarks when they quarreled during the process of finding a school for two daughters in Los Angeles.
According to the New York Daily News reports, Piccard wrote in a court filing in 2007 that Bannon did not want their twin daughters to enroll at the Archer School for Girls in Los Angeles because many Jewish students were attending the elite institution.
Bannon said he didn't like Jews and he didn't like the way they raise their children to be "whiney brats," Piccard said.
Bannon, the former executive chairman of Breitbart News site, was appointed by Trump as chief executive officer in a move to bolster his combative image.
Alexandra Preate, a spokeswoman for Bannon denied on Friday the accusation, saying that Bannon was proud to send his daughters to the school.
