The Tunisian presidency has denied any relation with the decision issued by the African Union ?(AU) in suspending Egypt’s membership.? The presidency said that the conversation held between President Moncef Marzouki and the ?Chairperson of the African Union Commission, Dr Nkosazana Dlamini Zuma was mainly about the ?ways of finding solutions to allow the African Union to have an active role in resolving the ?Egyptian crisis and stopping the bloodshed.? Tunisian President Moncef Marzouki has suggested to convene an urgent African ?Summit to discuss the Egyptian issue, proposing to Egyptian forces to play the role of mediator to resolve the crisis. He criticised the stance of the Secretary General of the Arab League ?Nabil El-Araby which he considered biased to one side against the other, stressing that he does not ?represent Tunisia nor the Arab League, and did not consult with the Member Countries of the ?League.?
