A political row has broken out in Tunisia\'s National Constituent Assembly (NCA) after several MPs from the ruling Ennahda Party accused chairman of the legislative and executive committee Omar el-Shitawey of stealing documents related to committee adjudicator Saleha Bin Aisha. On Friday, there were heated exchanges between Ennahda MPs and members of Shitawey\'s Congress for the Republic (CPR). The senior politician denied any wrongdoing, and argued that he wanted to preserve the documents after finding them on the floor of the parliamentary chamber. Shitawey, who belongs to the party of Tunisian President Moncef Marzouki, is knows as a critic of the recent draft of the Tunisian constitution. Accusations against the politician come just a day after NCA president Mustafa Bin Jaafar held a meeting with Secretary-General of the CPR, Imed Daimi as part of a cycle of meetings with the political parties\' leaders represented in the NCA and participating in the national dialogue.
