
The UAE Embassy has completed the distribution of food parcels to the underprivileged at the Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan Mosque in Piassa area.
Ambassador of the UAE to Ethiopia Ghazi Abdullah Al Mahri oversaw the initiative in which more than 1100 food parcels were distributed and iftar banquets were held for 450 people at the mosque.
The aid is donated by Emirati humanitarian agencies and charities including the Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation, the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation, the Emirates Red Crescent, the Dar Al Ber Society, the Sharjah Charity Association and the Dubai Charity Association.
The beneficiaries prayed to Allah Almighty to protect the people and leaders of the UAE and expressed appreciation for their support for the poor.
