
A delegation of UAE Parliamentary Division of the Federal National Council, FNC, is participating in the meetings of the four committees of the Arab Parliament, which began yesterday in Cairo with the participation of Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Jarwan, Speaker of Arab Parliament, to prepare for the Arab Parliament's Fourth Session of its First Legislative Term, which is being held today.
The UAE delegation includes member of the Federal National Council, Jassim Abdullah Al Naqbi, Member of the Legislative and Legal Affairs and Human Rights, Khalid Ali bin Zayed Al Falasi, Member of the Committee of Economic and Financial Affairs, and Ayesha Salem bin Smonoh, Member of the Committee of Social and Cultural, Women and Youth Affairs.
The fourth committees of the Arab Parliament discussed topics related to Arab national security, especially in light of the recent terrorist attacks on some Arab countries and the latest developments in the occupied Arab territories, particularly in Jerusalem, and the latest developments in some Arab countries that suffer from instability.
The committees discussed also the issue of Arab economic integration and the need to update the agreements and economic treaties concluded in the framework of the Arab League and ways of activating the Arab Convention for the fight against terrorism and issues of youth and childhood.
