A detainee in a Moroccan prison said he was visited by US intelligence officers, who were trying to track down a migrant previously living the US. Hamid Marzouk, currently serving a 20 year sentence in Tiflet prison south of the capital Rabat on charges relating to terrorism, was approached by the American officers and was shown a photograph of a Moroccan man who was currently on the run. They said they were trying to determine his whereabouts. Marzouk said he didn’t know the man, and said he told the officials he refused to answer questions to help the US, whom he considered the world’s biggest problem.
