
Syrian President Bashar al-Assad received a Yemeni delegation of politicians and parliamentarians, including a leading member of Joint Meeting Parties (JMP) on Thursday, according to Syrian Arab News Agency, SANA. Members of the delegation stressed their support for Syria in face of \"all attempts aimed at undermining its position and role\" SANA reported. The spokesman for Joint Meeting Parties (JMP), Naif Alqans posted photos on his Facebook account of the delegation members\' visit. Moreover, a number of members of the National Dialogue Conference (NDC) protested on Thursday against any Western military intervention in Syria, while the official position of the government remains neutral.
