
Popular resistance troops in Yemen continued Tuesday their advance in Aden where the retook the city hall after expelling Houthi militants and supporters of former Yemeni president Ali Abdullah Saleh
They were supported by Arab coalition warplanes, which targeted posts of militias in Tawahi and Kraytar districts, local media reported.
Meantime, calm prevailed in Mu'alla district, said a spokesman of the popular resistance said.
In May, Yemen's President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi left his refuge in Aden for Saudi Arabia as Houthis launched a coup against him.
Arab countries formed a coalition to defend the legitimate authority of Hadi against the Shiite rebels.
