The Yemeni presidency gave orders to boost security measures around governmental buildings and diplomatic missions in Sanaa and Aden in anticipation of more protests after the government announced a sharp rise in fuel prices.
A civilian was killed and two others were injured during the protests that erupted in Sanaa on Wednesday over the fuel price hike, sources told Saudi "Al-Watan" newspaper.
