A shooting outside a residence in Gary, Ind., early Saturday left two men dead and four other people wounded, police said. Officials said the 4 a.m. CDT shooting may have been precipitated by a fight at a local tavern earlier in the evening that may have started over a dispute about money, the Chicago Tribune reported. WLS-TV, Chicago, reported police said it appeared to have been a drive-by shooting. \"We\'re still sorting it out. It may stem from a disturbance earlier in the night. We are looking for some individuals. We\'re interviewing witnesses,\" the TV station quoted Gary police Chief Wade Ingram as saying. The slain men were identified as Vincent E. Wainwright, 32, and Da\'Vaughn Pitts, 18, the newspaper said. WLS-TV said the wounded, who were not identified, included two men and two women. The Tribune said one of the men, who is in his 20s, was in critical condition. The women, also in their 20s, were expected to survive. The condition of the second wounded man was not reported.
