Two people were trapped under the Gaza-Egypt border when a smuggling tunnel collapsed because of rain, civil defense crews reported. An Egyptian security official told the independent Palestinian Ma\'am News Agency several tunnels beneath the border were flooded or damaged after three days of heavy rain. The Palestinian side is in communication with Egypt to rescue the two unidentified people, who were trapped Friday, Gaza civil defense spokesman Muhammad al-Maydneh said. The rain has prompted the rescue of 150 people from flooded homes in Palestinian territories, as well as the removal of 54 vehicles from roads and the recovery of 15 boats sinking in rough seas, Ma\'am said.
