
At least three people have been killed and 30 others injured after a train hit a double-decker bus at a railway crossing in Thailand's Nakhon Pathom province, northwest of Bangkok, local media report.
The accident occurred early on Sunday morning when the bus transporting tourists to the popular island of Koh Samet, some 150km southeast of the capital, collided with the train, which was heading to a station in Kanchanaburi province.
The bus driver was killed on the spot and two people died in hospital. Those injured in the accident have been rushed to different hospitals in the area.
