
Some 3,000 Russians have traveled abroad to join terrorist groups, a Russian official said on Wednesday.
First deputy chairman of the National Anti-Terrorist Committee Yevgeny Ilin added that most of them are from North Caucasian Federal District, in their twenties and suffering financial problems as well as poor education.
