Four young Palestinian men were killed on Saturday evening in a road accident near Hebron in the southern West Bank. The group were traveling in a vehicle in Wadi al-Houz, east of Hebron city, when it flipped over, killing the passengers immediately, a Ma'an correspondent said. Initial reports from the scene suggest the driver lost control of the vehicle and veered off lane before it overturned. Director of the Red Crescent crisis unit Nasser Qabaja told Ma'an that ambulance crews extracted four bodies from the scene, naming them as Shaab Omran Al-Rajbi 26, his brother Saadi, 30, Hamza Saleem Al-Rajbi, 33, and Safwat Ratih Al-Ajlouni, 23. A civil defense statement said Israeli army and police forces also attended the scene, which lies in an area of the West Bank under Israeli military control. In Hebron city, where the four victims came from, hundreds gathered as their bodies were brought to Al-Ahli hospital. Palestinian police said they had ordered reinforcements in the area to maintain public order, as families rushed to check the identities of those killed.
