4 Tunisians among victims of Paris suburb fire

The Foreign Affairs Ministry, on Thursday, expressed \"deep sorrow\" after the fire that broke out on Wednesday in an old building in a northeastern suburb of Paris, causing victims among whom Tunisian nationals. \"We have received information on this painful accident, indicating the presence of four Tunisians among the victims,\" read a statement from the Foreign Affairs Ministry, quoting French security sources. The Ministry specified that checking the identity of the victims goes on, though it is difficult to recognise the burnt victims. Contacts will be established with families of the victims as soon as the Tunisian consular services receive more accurate information on this incident. Three Tunisians youth were also injured in this fire and are now under medical care. Officials from the Tunisian consulate in the suburb of Pantin went to the bedside of the victims. Nine other slightly injured Tunisians were admitted to hospital. They left the hospital and have been housed by the municipality of Pantin. Six persons died, two from asphyxia, in the fire that broke out in a building in Pantin, a northeastern suburb of Paris. There is no indication of the origin of this incident that would have been caused, according to French authorities, by a badly extinguished candle.
