Fifty members of the National Constituent Assembly (NCA) signed a motion of no confidence against the Women and Family Affairs Minister Sihem Badi, Najla Bouriel (Democratic bloc) said on Thursday. \"This number is likely to rise and reach the necessary quorum (73 signatures) to convene a NCA plenary session. If a majority of 109 signatures is obtained, Sihem Badi will be relieved of her duties,\" she told TAP.Some NCA members had affirmed that they back and would sign the motion, Mrs. Bouriel underscored, specifying that the latter include members of the democratic bloc and the Ennahdha movement, independents and former members of the Congress for the Republic.\"This vote of no confidence follows the Minister\'s failings in terms of protection of children,\" Mrs. Bouriel added, reminding of the recent rape of a three-year-old girl in a kindergarten in La Marsa.The censure motion lays emphasis on the inability of the Minister to put forward solutions and efficient measures to protect children and decries \"Sihem Badi\'s irresponsible statements
