South Korean jailed in Iran on spy charges

A South Korean citizen is serving a seven-year prison term in Iran after being apprehended on spy charges, a lawmaker and diplomatic sources in Seoul said Monday. The South Korean national, identified only by his surname Kim, was \"arrested in a Middle Eastern country after being caught taking pictures of police stations and embassy buildings,\" said Rep. Park Byeong-seog of the main opposition Democratic Party.
