A recent investigation indicates that the names of some 68 Turkish people are among a German neo-Nazi group's death list of 88 people, Press TV reports. The list was reportedly found during a November inquiry into the far-right neo-Nazi organization called the “National Socialist Underground”. The list includes the head of Turkish-German Education and Scientific Research Foundation, Faruk Sen, as well as the names of leaders from Germany's large Turkish and Islamic communities. According to Sen, the list was prepared by “Germany's deep state,” and then handed over to the neo-Nazis. It is thought that the group is behind the killing of at least eight ethnic Turks, one ethnic Greek, and a policewoman during 2000 and 2007. The recent murders have caused serious concern among millions of people in Germany with immigrant background. German parliamentarians said they were ashamed that security authorities could not prevent the murders. More than 150 people have died at the hands of right wing extremists since the reunification of Germany in 1990.
