
The number of toll in the Peshawar firing incident has increased to eight after two more injured succumbed to their injuries on Saturday, Pakistan\'s Geo News reported. According to the initial reports, six people were killed and others were injured after gunmen opened fire on a car in Matni area of Peshawar on Friday night. Police said the unknown shooters targeted the car near Gulzar Chowk in Matni area around midnight. The police rushed to the crime scene before the attacker could flee and engaged them in a gunfight. Also Friday, unknown gunmen killed seven people and injured four others. Police officer Amir Shaheen said that the incident took place in Jasooki village when three gunmen on a motorbike sprayed five people with bullets at the residence of a local religious scholar Phal Shah after Friday prayer.
