A fire at Buraidah prison, and riot by some inmates controlled

An acting information spokesman of Prisons said that "at 17:00 today during the weekly visit to prisoners (by their relatives and friends) at Buraidah (public) prison, three administrative offices were set ablaze. Meanwhile, riot caused by some inmates erupted. However, security men at the site were able to control the situation and pave the way for civil defense squads to do their duty and put off the fire. This resulted in the injury of two security men and two inmates who were all rushed to hospital for necessary treatment while the concerned authorities opened investigation into the incident to reveal the reasons of the fire and the riot that took place in the meantime".
