A group of seven Iranian aid workers, who had been abducted in Libya for over two months, arrived in Tehran on Sunday, Press TV reported. Iran\'s Ambassador to Libya Hussein Akbari has confirmed to Xinhua on Saturday that the seven Iranians were set free earlier in the day. On July 31, the group of Iranians from the Red Crescent Society of Iran were hauled away from their vehicle on the way back to their hotel by unknown kidnappers in Libya\'s eastern city of Benghazi. The Libyan branch of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) had urged the kidnappers to release the aid workers, stressing that they are official guests to help the Libyan city with its relief efforts after the collapse of Muammar Gaddafi\'s leadership a year ago.
